Hall Place Christmas Craft Fair, Bexley, Kent

  • Hall Place & Gardens, Bourne Road, Bexley, Kent, DA5 1PQ UK (map)

Entry is free to this exciting and popular event in Hall Place. This historic house and garden are rich in fascinating history.

Millbrook Pottery will be for sale on both days from 10am until 4pm.

Millbrook Pottery is hand made by Peter Curtis in Beckenham, Kent. Peter is an associate member of the Craft Potters Association and member of the Kent Potters Association.

The majority of Millbrook Pottery is hand thrown in the traditional method on a potters wheel. Each piece is then glazed by hand resulting in unique pieces of pottery.

The range of Millbrook Pottery includes bowls, vases, cheese platters, yarn bowls, trinket dishes to name but a few designs and for the gardeners amongst you totem poles, garden flowers, pot covers and hanging baskets.

I also offer pottery experiences for anyone interested to learn the traditional method of making pottery. The experience covers several methods of making including throwing on a potters wheel. Each experience lasts for 3.5 hours and is for 1 or 2 people only. After the experience you will have made pottery to take home with you at a later date, after it has been decorated and fired. Gift Vouchers are available if you wish to give a friend or relative a pottery experience. Price on application.
