Millbrook Pottery will be for sale from 10am until 3 pm on all three days. The range of Millbrook Pottery includes noodle/rice bowls, vases, cheese platters, yarn bowls, trinket dishes and for the gardeners amongst you, totem poles, garden flowers, pot covers and hanging baskets. Each piece is glazed by hand resulting in each piece being unique and many pieces are one-off designs.

Millbrook Pottery is made by Peter Curtis who began making pottery more than 45 years ago. Originally self taught I was fortunate enough to be mentored by the late Sid Tustin of Winchcombe Pottery for several years.

I work from my garden studios in Beckenham, Kent. The majority of my work is hand thrown using white stoneware clay. I enjoy altering my work in various ways including incising, mark making, cutting and twisting. I decorate my pottery with a mixture of commercial and handmade glazes and sell my work at craft fairs and online in my Etsy Shop. In the past I had a thriving pottery business selling to more than 350 shops worldwide. My pottery has sold at Bonhams Contemporary Ceramics Auctions.

Before becoming a potter I danced with Ballet Rambert for 11 years, and latterly I danced with the Royal Opera Company for 29 years. Dance has always been a source of inspiration for many of the designs of my pots along with my love of flora and fauna.
